Managing Associates

Olivia Babcock is a first-year MPA candidate at the Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, studying International Policy and Management with a Minor in Peace Studies. Olivia earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Puget Sound with a minor in Communications. Since earning her bachelor’s degree, she has worked as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Zambia, led the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program, and served as a Program Coordinator for four virtual exchange programs. Her academic and professional work has fostered a passion for international development and exchange, leadership development, and youth advocacy. Olivia is thrilled to bring her skills to the managing team and to contribute to Cornell Policy Review’s goals.

 

Samantha McGovern is a second-year MPA candidate at Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, focusing on Public and Nonprofit Management. She serves as a Program Coordinator at Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, supporting student engagement and research initiatives across the Center for Applied Research on Work. With nearly a decade of experience in higher education, nonprofit leadership, and public interest advocacy, Samantha is passionate about building inclusive, mission-driven programs that advance equity and community engagement. Before joining the Brooks School, she worked in student affairs at Cornell Law School and with national nonprofits such as the Fund for the Public Interest. She brings to the Cornell Policy Review a commitment to amplifying diverse voices and fostering dialogue that connects policy research to real-world impact.

 

 

Public Relations Associate

Kritika Dahal is a first-year Master of Public Administration student at Cornell University’s Jeb. E. Brooks School of Public Policy. From Nepal, she brings extensive knowledge of Public Relations, Communications, and Project Management across diverse industries. Kritika is passionate about bringing her interdisciplinary background to strengthen public sector governance, organizational communication, and development initiatives.
