The Cornell Policy Review is pleased to announce the addition of six new Associate Editors to the Review!

Associate Editors play an integral role at the Review, contributing to our online publication by writing, soliciting and editing articles from academics and policy professionals around the world. Our new suite of Associate Editors bring a breadth of experience and an array of interests to the Review along with an unrelenting passion to enrich policy dialogue globally. The Cornell Policy Review looks forward to continuing the tradition of publishing insightful and informative content authored and edited by these Associate Editors in the coming academic year.

 

 

Muhammad Ali Ilahi

Muhammad Ali Ilahi is a CIPA Fellow (’20) concentrating in International Development Studies. He has prior experience working as a consultant with the Pakistani government and working in international marketing in the private sector. He has a passion for writing about social issues facing Pakistan and is an ardent proponent of interfaith harmony.

 

 

 

 

 

Elisabeth Theresa Lembo

Elisabeth Theresa Lembo is a CIPA Fellow (’20) concentrating in Public and Nonprofit Management. Prior to CIPA, Elisabeth taught second grade in the Mississippi Delta and in Harlem, New York. She also has experience working with the New York City Department of Education in the Office of Teacher Development, as well as for the Teach For America summer training institute for new teachers in Mississippi. Elisabeth is interested in programs and policies aimed at enhancing educational attainment for students living in rural regions across the United States.

 

 

Adam Terragnoli

Adam Terragnoli is a CIPA fellow (’20) concentrating in Public and Nonprofit Management. Prior to coming to Cornell, he taught eighth-grade math in Vidalia, Louisiana, a rural town in the Louisiana Delta through Teach for America. In addition to his studies, Adam is a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Regional Economic Advancement, where he works on a wide range of economic development initiatives. He graduated summa cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University (’16) and holds an honors degree in Political Science.

 

 

 

 

Arianna T. Rebancos

Arianna T. Rebancos is a CIPA Fellow (’20) concentrating in Social Policy. Before coming to Cornell, she was a Management Consultant based in Manila, Philippines, and worked with government agencies, international organizations, and nonprofits. She has experience in project management, communication planning, change management, and high-level process analysis. Arianna is interested in the development of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) mechanisms capable of accomplishing social policy outcomes and reinforcing evidence-based policymaking.

 

 

 

 

Mahrusah Zahin

Mahrusah Zahin is an MPA Candidate (Dec. ’19) at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs, concentrating in International Development Studies. She received her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2016. She has previously worked in NYC agencies implementing pilot programs that have been borne out of new policy changes and has also conducted fieldwork in Bangladesh analyzing social enterprise models and value-added supply chains. She is interested in sustainable international development, concentrating on best practices in rural agriculture and how that translates to economic mobility.

 

 

 

 

Zhenyu Zhang

Zhenyu Zhang is a CIPA Fellow (‘20) concentrating in Economic and Financial Policy. His research interest lies in the creation of a national stability maintenance system in China and how political management intersects with policy processes, program development, and resource management in the public sector. Prior to coming to Cornell, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Macau and University of California, Berkeley. He also conducted his field research and worked as a grassroots policeman in the summer of 2017 and 2018 in China.
